116 Lynnwood Scout Group

We raised $4,100 this last bottle drive. Brings our 2009/2010 bottle
drives total to $14,000.

Bottle Drive on Saturday, April 17th, 2010!
Meet at Lynnwood Hall at 9:00am.

This is mandatory for everyone!

They will commence registration and weigh in of both kub kars and Scout trucks at 8:20.
Beavers just need to register as they do not weigh their Beaver Buggies.

116 Lynnwood will meet at 9am at the Main door. Look for the Black & Orange neckers!

According to the organizers, when arriving at Northlands, the best entrance is off of Wayne Gretzky Drive and at 116 Ave, at the northeast part of the grounds. Once you turn on 116 Ave you will see the glass part of the building with EXPO CENTRE on it. On the attached map you will see Public Parking North Lot, East Lot, and South Lot. This is the area that we will have access to and the parking is FREE. Other areas of the grounds is restricted or under construction.

You will see a star at Hall H just beside the North parking lot.
This is the Main and only entrance to the building. Just follow the corridor to Hall D on your right.

They hope to start racing at 10:00 am. They will then break at about 12:30 have lunch and watch the leaders race. They will then start the racing again in the afternoon, which counts for the trophies. By 3:30 they should have all the races finished, and at 3:45 commence announcing the trophy winners.

As we all know, nothing ever goes exactly to plan, so please be patient and understanding. I hope all the kids have fun racing their creations and enjoy this event.

Please remember this is all organized by volunteers, run by volunteers, and they are doing all this for the youth.
