This is a family event, Parents and Siblings are welcome!
Come meet other families of the 116 Lynwood Scout Group in celebrating the birthday of the founder of Scouting; Lord Baden Powell of Gilwell
This year we are again having a Potluck Dinner. Each family is asked to bring
One Dinner entrée sufficient to feed 8 people.
Desserts, salads and refreshments will be provided by the group
Please Note, This is a full dress uniformed event (brown shirts)
There is no charge for this event. Just your food contribution
Please be environmentally friendly and bring your own dishes and utensils.
Door prizes galore, fun fun fun !!
The leadership team has been working hard over the summer months planning another fun filled year of scouting for our youth.
Beavers started MONDAY September 14th at 6 pm in the Lynnwood Hall.
Cubs commenced TUESDAY September 15th at 6:30 pm in the Lynnwood School gym.
Scouts commenced on THURSDAY September 17th at 6:30 pm in the basement of St. Timothy’s church (145th street & 84th ave)
Your group committee and leadership team are confident that you and your youth(s) will have an excellent and rewarding experience with Scouts this year and look forward to working with you. New leaders and new ideas are always welcome. If you or your child ever has any concerns, please don’t hesitate to discuss them with a leader or myself.
Meetings, camps and special events etc… are usually open to parents provided you participate.
The treasure’s books are always open as well.
